Want to cancel and I want a refund. I cancelled one day after I signed up and realized I wont be needing it after all my daughter had already purchased something for learning Spanish.
Plus when I tried it was going way to fast and dont like that wasnt stopping from going forward . I want a refund immediately. I cancelled and you people still charged my account now you made my account at my bank overdrawn .
I cancelled this one day after signing up. I will be getting ahold of better business bureau if I dont get the $89.99 refund now Im pissed that you charged me after one day

Be careful with their misleading marketing offers. I was a paying customer for two years when I received a 65% price cut for live classes.
It was written "group classes" and "1:1 classes." I went for it, only to realize later that, surprise, surprise... 1:1 classes were not included. I contacted customer service, and they acknowledged the mistake, but, surprise, surprise... I was offered to pay more to get the 1:1 classes.
I went through my inbox looking for more Babbel marketing emails and found several misleading and overpromising claims.
This is not how you maintain customers; this is how you lose them. Be aware before you pay them anything.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They never solved the problem. They just refunded me my money.After four days, they answered me.Thank you for everything.
I have written several emails stating that I cannot continue to learn because I cannot make two words if there's no space. I have sent screenshots and yet I am still stuck in the same place.
I cannot continue any further with this where I am, so all day long I got nowhere today. No one is getting back to me.
They said they received my message and they were going to look into it. Well, that's not helping me learn today, is it?

Not able access my lessons
I have received credit card statements saying Babbel has money out of it. However, I am only able to do 1 review lesson on the app.
But when I called customer service, I couldn't get a live person. I was then told to go to their website.

I have been charged a monthly fee which is not supposed to happen. I signed up for a lifetime membership years ago and just started noticing a Babbel charge on my credit card.
Preferred solution: Return my lifetime membership @ no charge…. Since the beginning of these new charges and refund these charges

I canceled my prescription almost a year ago just to see that they are again trying to say I did not cancel it. I will not be paying for this charge that I don't even use. I try to talk to somebody over the phone and the call does not even go through before hanging up on me what a disgrace of a company then I have to pay to talk to someone that works for Babble absolutely not...

I'd like to use Babbel for one year, but I canceled the auto-renewal. I did lesson one yesterday, but it wants me to order another subscription before I can see lesson two. If you would have a working phone number, we could talk this over and figure out where the problem is.

I was interested in using Babbel prior to a trip to a foreign country. There was a promo I signed up for in June 2023 as it was only a 3-month plan.
I used the program for June, July and August - as that is what I understood I purchased when they promoted their program on a website/newsletter I frequent - the 1440 daily digest. Very surprised to find out that my credit card has been charged for the past year for close to $200, for their recurring billing plan. I have never opened the app since Labor Day, which they would be able to look up if they wanted to be helpful for a refund.
Please DO NOT become a victim like me of wasting $200 - and signing up with them. Their falsely promoted 3-month plan is a hoax, and only there to rip off consumers in their bogus subscription world.
